SHINee Has Set A New Record By Hitting No.1 in Oricon Physical And Digital Weekly Charts



SHINee's 'The Best From Now On' album, released on April 18th has made a new record by charting No.1 in Oricon Physical and Digital weekly charts. SHINee is the first Kpop boy band to top both the Japanese charts at the same time.


Oricon reported this in it's official website on April 24 "We began reporting digital album rankings on November 2016, since then, this it the first time for a foreign artist to have charted No.1 on both the physical and the digital weekly charts at the same time."

Upon release, the album hit No.1 on iTunes in 15 countries - Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Peru, Chile, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.


The album includes the Japanese version of the band's famous tracks - Lucifer, Fire, Replay and Get the Treasure, along with the lead track - From Now On, recorded by all five members.
