Lay Zhang,The King Of China On Grammy's Red Carpet;The Only Chinese Artist To Attend The 2019 Grammy


Lay Zhang, the highest charting mandarin pop artist in billboard, also the member of world wide Kpop sensation EXO, made his first grand appearance at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards on February 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. He is the only Chinese artist to attend the Grammy's 61st ceremony.

On the red carpet, he kept his look neat, simple and sharp in all black with a delicate piece of jewelry around his collar, posed to cameras with a smile which formed a cute adorable dimple on his cheeks and heart eyes.

In an interview with Billboard, Lay said “I’m so excited to be here and I’m looking forward to tonight’s show. This is my first time to be here and I hope in the future I can perform on this stage.” Added that even though he might speak a different language "we can use music as communication. To get a lot of friendship, so I think this is a very amazing place and my dream stage".

When asked about his collaboration with Steve Aoki and S$AP Ferg, he expressed that the opportunity as "a dream" and called Ferg his "bro" and a "very nice person". He also expressed that in future, he would like to collaborate with Drake, Lady Gaga and Camila Cabello and expressed that love to do a very interesting collaboration with Khalid.

Ahead of the event, Zhang posted a photo of his outfit on twitter and wrote, "Excited for the #Grammys"

Fans are extremely proud and expressed happiness on Lay's first-ever Grammys moment and trended hashtags worldwide.



It was a good day! A day to be proud of!


Only with hard work and talent, Lay Zhang has achieved several huge feet at such young age. He is an inspiration to many artist and young people.
