On September 15, world famous Kpop stars EXO, Wanna One, SHINee's Taemin and rising artists Stray Kids and (G)-IDLE performed at the Music Bank in Berlin. The stars sang and danced to their famous works, undeniably a musical treat to the fans at the show. One particular performance stood out and made the whole arena immerse in the tears of emotion. It's EXO Chanyeol's special stage "Wind of Change" performance.
"Wind Of Change" is a power ballad single by the Scorpions, a German hard rock heavy metal band. The song was released just after the failed coup which eventually lead of the collapse of the Soviet Union and fall of the Berlin wall. The song captured the zeitgeist of a special moment in the German history at the time of political disruption and became the unofficial anthem to celebrate the end of the Cold War.
In an interview with Rolling Stone in 2015, the Scorpion band members published the oral history of the song and stated that the song's inspiration was the events that took place before the fall of the Berlin Wall. The song is one of the best selling single in the world by a German artist.
"Wind of Change" is a song of hope and peace, also served as a soundtrack to a political and cultural revolution. When the Berlin wall fell, it sang the hope for the raise of a new era. Chanyeol performed the song of such importance so beautifully by strumming his guitar so elegantly, which made the whole crowd to tear up with emotion. The fans chanted "Park Chanyeol" with such energy expressing their happiness over the performance.

"EXO's Chanyeol sung Scorpion's classic "Wind of Change" in Berlin Music Bank. Scorpion's representative song which symbolizes the East-West Cold War and Germany division was an excellent selection of a song. The Kpop star standing in front of the Germans, carrying a guitar and singing about peace and change was truly meaningful."
